Presenting Maestro Gerson Flinkas for the first time on Parallel Realities with two of his career albums.

I have chosen Sua Majestade, O Baile from 1960 as the first for the simple reason that the back cover displays the large list of very prominent members of his Grande Orquestra:

Tito Romero – in reality is special Polydor’s name for João Adelino Leal Brito, AKA Britinho (CBS, Columbia, Odeon, Sinter) / Leal Brito, Al Brito / Pierre Kolmann (Musidisc) and Franca Villa (Sinter). Can the pianoman from another Gerson‘s LP, El Romeu, be Leal Brito too?
Or it is Romeu Fossati (Mocambo)? Who knows?
Vibrafone player Jota Cláudio may be José Cláudio das Neves?

No secret that Fats Elpidio is one of my favourite piano players and his albums are frequently played at my place, so it is not surprising that once more I checked my huge Zaccariasfolder to find and burn even more of his music to CD.
While doing so, I discovered hidden in another folder of another album by Zaccarias which I probably moved there by mistake.
Anyway, as it was hidden I did not post it, but now I am doing it with great pleasure.

The series Depoimento (testimony) consists (according to Memória Musical) of two volumes, both recorded in 1975. This is Volume 1, dedicated to Maestro Severino Araújo and his Orquestra Tabajara.

This complete recording was done between the 6th and 10th of January 1975 in Rio de Janeiro.
