FACTS AND GUESSES by Bossanov:
Tito Romero – in reality is special Polydor’s name for João Adelino Leal Brito, AKA Britinho (CBS, Columbia, Odeon, Sinter) / Leal Brito, Al Brito / Pierre Kolmann (Musidisc) and Franca Villa (Sinter). Can the pianoman from another Gerson‘s LP, El Romeu, be Leal Brito too?
Or it is Romeu Fossati (Mocambo)? Who knows?
Vibrafone player Jota Cláudio may be José Cláudio das Neves?

Zaccarias e Sua Secao de Palhetas – Palhetas Espetaculares (1962)

RCA Victor BBL 1177

No secret that Fats Elpidio is one of my favourite piano players and his albums are frequently played at my place, so it is not surprising that once more I checked my huge Zaccariasfolder to find and burn even more of his music to CD.
While doing so, I discovered hidden in another folder of another album by Zaccarias which I probably moved there by mistake.
Anyway, as it was hidden I did not post it, but now I am doing it with great pleasure.

The list of musicians accompanying Zaccarias shows some prominent names:

Paulo Moura, José Sergio, Josino e Botelho: Clarinete
Jaime Araújo, Jorge Ferreira, Sandoval, Aurino e Joaquim Gonçalves: Saxofone
Plínio Araújo: Bateria
Fats Elpidio: Piano
Baden Powell: Guitarra
Luiz Marinho: Baixo
Gilberto, Pedro e Barão: Percussão

The tracks performed are quite prominent too:

01. Dizzy Fingers (Z. Confrey)
02. Ai Que Saudades da Amélia (Ataulfo Alves / Mário Lago)
03. A Dança do Sabre (A. Khatchaturlan)
04. Solução (Raul Sampaio / Ivo Santos)
05. Bye Bye Blues (Fred Hamm / David Bennett / Chauncey Gray / Bert Lown)
06. Fim de Parceria (Fernando César / Dalton Vogeler)
07. Lover (Richard Rodgers / Lorenz Hart)
