Pierre Kolmann – Para Dancar Vol.4 (1958)

Musidisc HI-FI-2015

João Leal Brito has chosen for this album the use the false name of Pierre Kolmann, out of his huge reserve of false names.
To cover his tracks he is performing also a composition by a certain Britinho (a person quite different from João Leal Brito).
As if this were not enough, he went so far as to have Toni Vestane singing on three tracks, which have been part of his 1958 compacto duplo, posted here a year ago.
To make it even more mysterious this fourth volume of his Para Dançar series is not listed at all.

These compositions are released at an unknown date which can be only 1958, so enjoy them now:

01. Mathilda (Harry Thomas)
02. Little Darling (Mauricio Williams)
03. Ouça (Maysa) canta Toni Vestane
04. A Volta ao Mundo em 80 Dias (Victor Young)
05. Fascination (F. D. Marchetti)
06. Encantamento (Otto Cesana)
07. Bernardine (Johnny Mercer)
08. Dorinha meu Amor (José Francisco de Freitas) canta Toni Vestane
09. Marcelinho (A. V. Savona / G. Giacotebetti)
10. Por Cause de Você (Dolores Duran) canta Toni Vestane
11. Souvenir d’Italie (Scarnicci / Tarabusi / L. Luttazzi)
12. Exaltação aos Pampas (Britinho)

Tito Romero e Sua Orquestra Típica – Sucessos Brasileiros em Ritmo de Tango (1959)

Polydor LPNG 4039

Not too much confusion here: João Leal BritoBritinho” as Tito Romero again.
As we are all used to his perpetual changing of false names, it is not a sensation anymore, but the mustaches of the gentleman on the front cover starting his: Towards the bedroom action are sensational indeed and if it all were not just a pose for the photographer, they would doubtless be the key element to a successful finalization of the action mentioned above.

While meditating about all aspects of this story, enjoy:

01. Vai Ver Que É (Carvalhinho / Paulo Gracindo)
02. Sombras (O. Trinca / Alberto Paz)
03. Luar de Paquetá (Freire Júnior / Hermes Fontes)
04. Incerteza (Eduardo Patané / Di Veras)
05. Hei de Querer-te Sempre (Romeu Fossati)
06. Um Tango Uma Saudade (Joel de Almeida / J. Piedade)
07. Vem Me Buscar (Airton Borges / Adolfo Macedo / Adilson Moreira)
08. Aperta-me Em Teus Braços (Anísio Silva / Almeida Rego)
09. Mentindo (Eduardo Patané / Lourival Faissal)
10. Divagando (Ciccillo)
11. Teu Juramento (Ubirajara da Silva)
12. Foi Mentira (Sebastião Gomes / Alcides Rosa)

Tito Romero e Sua Orquestra – Choros Maravilhosos (1959)

Polydor LPNG 4047

The fourth album by João Leal BritoBritinho” recorded under the name of Tito Romero is presented today on Parallel Realities.

A previous quick checking my collection showed that there is just one more missing Lp to complete Britinho‘s Tito Romero discography, while the Al Brito and Franca Villa collections (consisting, as far as I know, of only 1 album each) are completed…

So is the Pierre Kolmann 10 albums discography.

On the other hand, if my listing is correct, 6 more albums which João Leal BritoBritinho” has recorded as João Leal BritoBritinho” or just “Britinho” have so far not appeared anywhere on the net.

But with the secrecy surrounded piano player, all kind of surprises are possible and therefore to be expected. Like another false name of which nobody was aware of…

Enjoy:

01. Um A Zero (Pixinguinha / Benedito Lacerda)
02. Bem-Te-Vi Atrevido (Lina Pesce)
03. Foguete (Radamés Gnattali)
04. Mágoas do Ney (Pedrosa)
05. Brincando Com Chopin (Pernambuco)
06. Fumaça (J. C. Mesquita)
07. Apanhei-te Cavaquinho (Ernesto Nazareth)
08. Flamengo (Bonfíglio de Oliveira)
09. Chorando Devagar (Joel de Almeida)
10. Murmurando (Fon-Fon / Mário Rossi)
11. Velhos Tempos (Dermeval Fonseca)
12. Marabá (Romeu Fossati)
