Bob Fleming – Brasa Jovem Vol.1 (1966)

Musidisc XPL-46

The pressure is growing daily. Complete albums are deleted from servers and posts removed by blogger because of just one song (according to the explanation). For example, Marisa Gata Mansa’s A Suave Mariza LP has been deleted and the post removed from Parallel Realities because one composition is composed by Carlos Lyra…
Most Maysa’s songs are reason enough for file removal etc etc.

So please, if you see a removed link here, do not ask for a re-post.

Morale of this story:
If you think twice before downloading, bear in mind that tomorrow you may be advised to make your download yesterday.

Now back to the usual routine:

Another never before on the net Bob Fleming album, sent to us by Anonymous & 300 discos.
A Bob Fleming, different from the Bob Fleming posted yesterday.
While on the previous (No Cinema), Bob Fleming was identified as Zito Righi, this Bob Fleming release is identified as not by Zito.
Unless there is a third Bob Fleming or even a large group of Flemings, we can safely assume that this time it must be Moacyr Silva hiding his true name, while performing for Musidisc.

A curiosity: 8 songs out of 12 are by Јоhn Lеnnоn & Раul MсСаrtnеу.

01. A Volta (Roberto Carlos / Erasmo Carlos)
02. Capri C’est Fini (Hervé Vilard / Marcel Hurten)
03. O Meu Primeiro Amor (You’re Going To Lose That Girl) (Јоhn Lеnnоn / Раul MсСаrtnеу)
04. Mexerico da Candinha (Roberto Carlos / Erasmo Carlos)
05. You Can’t do That (Јоhn Lеnnоn / Раul MсСаrtnеу)
06. Girl (Јоhn Lеnnоn / Раul MсСаrtnеу)
07. Yesterday (Јоhn Lеnnоn / Раul MсСаrtnеу)
08. Eight Days a Week (Јоhn Lеnnоn / Раul MсСаrtnеу)
09. Um Grande Amor (I Knew Right Away) (A Cogan / S. Foster)
10. Things We Said Today (Јоhn Lеnnоn / Раul MсСаrtnеу)
11. Do You Want To Know a Secret (Јоhn Lеnnоn / Раul MсСаrtnеу)
12. If I Fell (Јоhn Lеnnоn / Раul MсСаrtnеу)

Bob Fleming – No Cinema (1963)

Musidisc XPL-29

The once famous cinema in downtown Belgrade called 20 ОКТОБАР, notorious for spaghetti westerns, Bruce Lee movies and similar, has been closed for business more than a decade ago and is still nothing else but a closed cinema, with a billboard above the entrance, a left-over from glorious times, displaying the following text:

NO SHOWS TODAY
COME YESTERDAY

Bob Fleming‘s No Cinema album, received from Anonymous & 300 discos is, like many other albums by Bob Fleming, wrongly regarded as Moacyr Silva‘s work performed under the false name of Bob Fleming.
It is true that Moacyr Silva has done lots of albums as Bob Fleming, but this one he has not. Recently it got clarified with a list of albums Zito Righi has recorded, No Cinema is among them.

Call him Zito or Bob, but the compositions he plays are unmistakably these:

01. Тhе Lаst Timе I Sаw Pаris (Јеromе Кеrn / Osсаr Наmmеrstеin II)
02. Theme From ”A Summer Place” (Max Steiner / Mack Discant)
03. Make Believe (Јеromе Кеrn / Osсаr Наmmеrstеin II)
04. Tonight (L. Веrnstеin / S. Sоndhеim)
05. Smile (Сhаrlеs Сhарlin / J. Turnеr / G. Раrsоns)
06. Реpe (Наns Wittstаtt)
07. Strаngеr In Раrаdisе (Rоbеrt Wright / Gеоrgе Fоrrеst)
08. Unсhаinеd Mеlody (Аlех North / Ну Zаrеt)
09. Moon Rivеr (Неnrу Маnсini / Јоhnnу Mеrсеr)
10. Thrее Сoins In Thе Fountain (Sаmmу Саhn / Јulе Stуnе)

Bob Fleming – Este e Bob Fleming (1961)

Sometimes lately, I have the feeling that the evil shadow of darkness is covering the world. Greed has become beastly and the will to enslave others unbearable. The shadow is everywhere and it gets darker and darker day by day. You can see it everywhere you look and everyone’s freedom is limited more and more.
The final goal is to root out any sign of human behavior, art, freedom of choice, freedom of speech and freedom in general.
The internet is a special target for the oppressors. Last night I checked out Flavia‘s site Abracadabra and received a shock. After Megaupload and a few others that followed, Mediafire probably got scared and started acting in panic: Flavia‘s about 1000 albums hosted on Mediafire got all deleted and her account closed.
She accompanied this news with a short text on her site which sounds as if anyone of us would have written in a similar situation.
Anyway, I completely agree with Flavia. Maybe it would be good to read her thext. It is here.
In the meantime, I am continuing to fix all broken links on Parallel Realities, even though I feel that it is a battle that I will probably loose. The beasts will not stop until the internet is transformed to an advertising place for products of industry, propaganda and trash in general.
Of course, pockets of resistance still exist and with the help from above, we will continue our fight for freedom.

Like the freedom to decide if you want or not want to have this album, re-posted from loronix, which is out of sale, in your collection and enjoy or not enjoy these tracks:

01. All The Things You Are
02. Bat Masterson
03. It’s Wonderful
04. Laura
05. Deep Purple
06. All The Way
07. Stella By Starlight
08. Exodus
09. Dancing In The Dark
10. All My Tomorrows
11. I’m In The Mood For Love
12. Blue Moon

Bob Fleming – Dance com Musidisc Vol 3 (196_)

Here is another album by my favorite sax player Moacyr Silva, performing once more under the false name of Bob Fleming.
I am still asking myself why he went undercover once again… Was he hiding from the police? Did he work for CIA, KGB or the UDBA? Is there any connection between Bob Fleming and Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond?
And what year exactly was this album released?
Only one fact is beyond dipute: This is great para dançar music.
.
EDIT: Thanks to the comment by The Trackfinder who pointed to Memória Musical, the release year of this album is 1962.
.
