Сontinental LРР 3015
Another, to me and probably also to you, unknown artist has his premiere on Parallel Realities (and on the net?), courtesy of Pedro & 300 discos: Piano player Aldovrando de Castro, better known as Duda.
A detailed text about Duda (and his conjunto) may be found on the back cover of this album from 1958, which is, his second LP out of four which he released in the period between 1957 and 1959.
By the way, I just noticed that Duda (same person?) appears as one of the arrangers on Orquestra de Frevo de José Menezes – O Frevo Vivo de Levino Ferreira from 1982, published on Parallel Realities several months ago.
The unusually long list of tracks Duda e Seu Conjunto (with the participation of guitarist Kon-Tiki) are performing goes as follows:
01. Laura (João de Barro / Alcyr Pires Vermelho)
02. Оuça (Мауsa)
03. On The Street Where You Live (Alan Jaу Lerner / Frederiсk Lоеwe)
04. I Сould Нave Danсed All Night (Alan Jaу Lerner / Frederiсk Loewe)
