Gilda Valença – Nem às Paredes Confesso (1973)

Gilda Valença is the younger sister of Ester de Abreu, the singer presented in one of the previous posts. She has recorded several albums (at least 8) and a few 78 rpm. Not that she is forgotten, but her music is quite hard to find. This album (downloaded via P2P) is a 1973 stereo reissue of the mono version released in 1969, also by musidisc, but in another cover (which I included in the zip file).

Enjoy the compositions:

01. Nem às Paredes Confesso (A. Ribeiro / Max / Ferrer Trindade)
02. Lisboa Antiga (J. Galhardo / A. do Vale / Raul Portela)
03. Arraial de Santo Antônio (Julio Dantas / F. Freitas)
04. Coimbra (Raul Ferrão / José Galhardo)
05. Foi Deus (Alberto Janes)
06. Ai Mouraria (Frederico Valério / Amadeu do Vale)
07. Alfama (Carlos Alfredo Dias / Amadeu do Vale)
08. Uma Casa Portuguesa (A. V. Fonseca / V. de Matos Sequeira / R. Ferreira)
09. Tudo Isto É Fado (F. de Galhardo / A. Nazaré)
10. Cantiga de Rua (João Bastos / Antônio Melo)
