Sao Paulo Dixieland Band – Jazz Na Universidade (1964)

Chantecler CMG 2262

São Paulo Dixieland Band, presented now for the first time on Parallel Realities, consists of University students and was formed back in 1960 in order to play traditional jazz and they managed to become the best group in Brazil playing this kind of music…
I am afraid that this is their only career album, but, hopefully, I might be wrong again.
More about them, including their photographs you may find on the back cover, here is just the list:

José T. Assumpção (Contrabaixo)
Décimo Mazzocato (Banjo)
Pedro Lodovici (Bateria)
Nelson Ayres (Piano)
Fernando Kfouri (Trombone)
Austin Roberts (Piston)
Geraldo Gomes (Clarinete)
