Conjunto Farroupilhas – O Que Cantamos Na TV (1964)

Farroupilha LPFA-401

The vocal group Conjunto Farroupilhas has been quite prominently presented on the net by Loronx and various other sites, while on Parallel Realities you could find them up to now singing only as guest stars on one track by Maestro Cipó on Festival de Jazz – 2o Grande Concerto (1957).

Now, here they are with a career album from ’64, presenting (at least the title suggests so) music that they were usually singing on TV:

01. Meglio Stasera (It Had Better Be Tonight) (Henry Mancini / Johnny Mercer)
02. Balanço Zona Sul (Tito Madi)
03. Schnei Chaverin (Adpt. Tasso Bangel)
04. Come Sinfonia (Pino Donaggio)
05. Meu Querido Portugal (Danilo Castro / Sidney Morais)
06. Souvenir de Paris (J. Borel / J. Moreau / M. Rossi)
07. Trinta E Um Sabores (31 Flavours) (Ernest Gold / Mack David / Vrs. Espírito Santo)
08. Nosso Encontro (Tasso Bangel)
09. Five Hundred Miles (Hedy West)
10. La Chanson de Rio (Tasso Bangel / Sidney Morais)
11. Papai Walt Disney (Papa Walt Disney) (A. V. Savona / G. Giacobetti / Espírito Santo)
12. Pic-nic (H. Salvador / M. Bon / Vrs. Espírito Santo)
